Hey Modesto,
No June gloom for us this year. It’s just been hot! Now that we’re through the graduations, loved our Graffiti Night, and kicked off concert in the park at Graceada every Thursday, I’m looking forward to another amazing summer here in Modesto.
Community Safety is always my number one priority. That’s why I am proud to be endorsed by both Modesto Police Officers and Modesto Firefighters. If you need me you can always call / text 209-312-3463 or just respond to this email.

Hey Modesto,
I’m ready for spring, but it just isn’t quite here yet. Will we have that nice weather for Easter this year? I sure hope so, but in the meantime here’s some Modesto updates to push you through this month!
GARAGE SALE FEST: Sign up now for the city wide garage sale day in Modesto on April 20th. We could have 1000 garage sales so get ready for deals! Click here sign up your garage sale.
Graceada / Enslen Crime Problems: The crime and vagrancy problems at Graceada / Enslen parks were improving for a while, but have slid backwards in recent months due to staffing shortages in our Ranger Department. We have 3 Rangers and we are budgeted for 12. While I understand we are understaffed, we must maintain safety regardless. The City has acknowledged the problem and is working on the situation.
Bookish Grand Opening April 4th: Modesto is going to have a new independent Book Shop / Coffee House in Roseburg Square. Drop by and say hi to Paula and Will. They’ll have plenty of fabulous recommendations.
Can Sharing Program: Do you never fill your garbage can? City of Modesto’s can sharing program helps you share a can with a neighbor and save money doing it. Sign up here.
Community Safety is always my number one priority. That’s why I am proud to be endorsed by both Modesto Police Officers and Modesto Firefighters. If you need me you can always call / text 209-312-3463 or just respond to this email.

Homelessness Discussion at Modesto City Council
May 9th
Council Meeting begins at 5:30PM
Hey Modesto!
On Tuesday, May 9th at 5:30PM at the City Council Meeting we are having a discussion about homelessness. This discussion will include the city's solutions and give people an opportunity to share solutions they may not be pursuing yet.
The conversation is the last thing on the agenda so I estimate it will come up at around 6:30PM, but it could be earlier or later.
Please come and advocate for homeless solutions.
You can also attend and speak live via Zoom - Click Link here. Code is 84326.

Hey Modesto!
The election is finally over and we have some wonderful new members joining the council including Eric Alvarez in District 2, Nick Bavaro in the currently vacant District 4, and Jeremiah Williams in District 5. While we wait for them to join us in December, your current council is working hard to deliver on things that you care about.
Here's a few things that we've been working on.
