Modesto Firefighters

Modesto Firefighters Local 1289 represents members of the Modesto Firefighters. They answer the call when Modesto has life threatening emergencies ranging from medical emergencies, hazardous materials, and fire suppression in the community.

Modesto Police Officers

The MPOA is a non-profit organization that represents 198 sworn men and women of the Modesto Police Department. We have three main functions as a Police Association.


- To protect the rights of our members and provide them with the best possible legal representation.

- To negotiate for adequate benefits and competitive wages.

- To support our community through donations to local programs and worthwhile charities.

IBEW Local 684

 IBEW Local 684 represents Electrical Workers within our jurisdiction in Stanislaus, Merced, Mariposa, and Tuolumne counties. The main objectives of the Local Union are to organize electrical workers, secure just compensation for their services, provide equitable settlements of grievances, promote efficiency and improvements, reasonable working conditions and cordial relations between members and the employers while promoting the Electrical Industry. 

NVLF

 The North Valley Labor Federation is partnership between labor unions in San Joaquin, Calaveras, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Merced and Mariposa Counties. We build power for working families by developing partnerships within the Labor Movement and with our community allies.

Committed to improving the political, social and economic conditions of Latinos in Stanislaus County.

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America leads the way in training, educating, and representing the next generation of skilled construction professionals. We equip our professional craftsmen with skills that are demanded in today’s construction industry.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), grassroots civil rights and advocacy group. CAIR is America’s largest Islamic civil liberties group, with regional offices nationwide. The national headquarters is located on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America is a nonprofit organization that provides sexual health care in the United States and globally. 

LiUNA - Laborers Local 1130

Representing construction, maintenance, safety, utility district and city bargaining units in Stanislaus, Merced, Tuolumne and Mariposa Counties.
