Over the years, I’ve watched candidate after candidate join our council with empty and repetitive promises. We hear the same broad ideas over and over again: make our neighborhoods safer, reduce crime, bring jobs, and reduce homelessness. They’re all good ideas, but saying “I want to make Modesto safer” is not the same as having real strategies to get the job done. I’ve started my campaign with 100 ideas to build on and inspire this community to start moving Modesto upwards. Some are big, some are small, all can have a positive impact.
Modesto needs air service to cities like Las Vegas and Los Angeles that connect us with the rest of the world. It's embarrassing that Merced has it and we don't.

Many of our parks are abandoned and trashed. Subletting parts of parks to businesses is done all over and increases activity, decreases crime, and creates revenue for maintanence.

Residents and businesses should have the ability to sponsor planters and areas throughout the city and in parks. Sponsorship would include a plaque with info on the family or business that helped out.
The LGBTQ community is still discriminated against in our community. We need to show that Modesto accepts, loves, and supports everyone. Because love is love.
Change zoning and encourage shopping centers and malls to develop residential / affordable housing.
On a monthly or weekly basis produce a Downtown Drive In Movie to celebrate our Graffiti culture.
Our first city flag served us well, but Modesto has grown up a lot since 1988. Let's update the design to match the new direction of our city.

Solar power will save the City of Modesto money and help keep our air cleaner.

Every Friday night local comedians give a take on life in Modesto streamed and on public access.
